The reason you keep running out of content ideas has nothing to do with creativity.
Most writers treat "coming up with ideas" like a magic trick.
- They sit down
- Stare at a blank page
- And try to conjure something clever out of thin air
Or they plan content around vague "themes" (education, inspiration, entertainment) and end up with a content calendar that feels random and directionless.
## After 8-9 posts—the well runs dry, ideas start feeling forced, and posting gets inconsistent.
Here's the question-based framework that means you'll never run out of content ideas again, for yourself or any client you write for.
BTW—Here’s a video version if you prefer listening/watching instead:

Every day, I talk about digital writing & building a digital writing business. Want to become a prolific writer, build a massive audience on X, & unlock endless opportunities? Click here for my FREE Start Writing Online crash course.
# Stop searching for ideas. Start collecting questions.
Ideas are amorphous, and that's exactly why people get stuck trying to find them.
Questions aren't.
A question has a clear shape, a clear answer, and a clear reader on the other end of it.
## So, instead of asking "what should I post about?" ask "what does my reader actually want to know?"
And if you don’t have any “readers” yet:
Think abuot the questions you wish you had answers to 1-2 years ago.
But the problem is the first 10 or so questions you come up with will be what anyone else could think of. Which means it’s very difficult to stand out or create content about what readers actually want.
The real skill is pushing past them into the nuanced, specific questions nobody else is answering.
Ten years into writing about the same topics, new questions still show up daily.
Compare the obvious version of a question to the nuanced one:
- Surface: "How do I get more clients?" Nuanced: "Why do warm leads go quiet after the first call, and what reopens them?"
- Surface: "What should I post about?" Nuanced: "Which proof points does my audience already believe, and which do I still need to earn?"
- Surface: "How do I raise my prices?" Nuanced: "What has to be true about delivery before a price increase costs me clients?"
The rabbit hole is deeper than it looks, so keep digging past the obvious layer.
# Steal your best content ideas from where your readers are already.
You don't have to invent nuanced questions out of thin air.
Dig through some:
- X posts
- Subreddits
- LinkedIn replies
- YouTube video comment sections
- Facebook groups (crazy ppl still use this platform)
Chances are pretty good you’ll find plenty of nuanced questions you can answer.
Or that you can research and then write about.
# Next, unbundle one question into ten different pieces of content.
Once you have a solid question, don't just answer it once and move on.
Take that same question and split it across different angles:
- Answer it for one archetype of reader versus another
- Answer it for one specific outcome versus a different outcome
- Answer it in the context of one problem versus an adjacent problem
One good question, unbundled this way, can quietly become five or ten separate pieces of content, all built on a single insight.
# Then, answer every question with the 10 magical ways.
Once you've got the question, the "10 Magical Ways" framework tells you how to answer it:
1. Tips
2. Stats
3. Steps
4. Lessons
5. Benefits
6. Reasons
7. Mistakes
8. Examples
9. Questions
10. Personal stories
Take a single question (for example):
## "If I invest $100K into a branded podcast, how much reach should I expect in a year?"
You could answer it with:
- Reasons
- Mistakes to avoid
- Steps to take
- Or with a personal story
Literally the saame question, but 10 different content formats.
This is how you build a massive library of content.
## Authority and “brand building” doesn’t come down to skill or talent.
It's time spent answering questions.
This is the secret to building an audience in any niche. It's the compounding effect of answering questions in that space, publicly, over a long period of time.
That's it.
Every "expert" you follow got there by doing this exact loop, question in, answer out, longer and more consistently than everyone else in their niche.
Myself included.

- Subreddits(Reddit
- Facebook
