We are revolutionizing the interface to the computer.
Once every few decades, there comes an opportunity to completely reimagine the interface. How lucky to be alive and building in such a time now.
For decades, applications have been the interface: humans worked and lived inside them. That era is ending. Going forward, agents will use computers and their applications on our behalf, and humans will interact with agents. But our applications weren't built for agents to live in. Worse, we have no natural way to communicate with our agents.
At Memfold AI, we are spearheading this revolution to bring our agents to our computers, share our digital life and work, and communicate naturally with our agents. If you are passionate about this revolution that is happening as you read this, come be a part of it.
We will launch this new personal computing interface in 1-2 months. To validate this direction, we want to fill a small cricket ground with users who actually find enough value and delight to pay for it. About 5 thousand of them.

## Who are the founders?
Nischith and Vinod. Vinod holds a PhD at the intersection of systems and deep learning from IIT Madras. Nischith holds a BTech in CSE and topped the department at IIT Madras.
We met at Microsoft Research, where we spent a year working together: first on distributed systems, then on a no-code platform that let non-coders vibe-build applications in the months after ChatGPT's release.
We were founding members of Sarvam AI, where we spent two years and were part of the small team that trained the first Indic LLM - OpenHathi. At Sarvam, Nischith also built state-of-the-art agentic parsing and extended it to RAG pipelines, while Vinod built the horizontal inference platform that powered performant and sovereign serving of Sarvam's models for enterprises and the strategic sector.
## Why them?
We have a deep internal understanding of LLMs and hands-on experience building agentic systems. Few teams have lived inside every layer of the stack: training the model, serving it at scale, building the retrieval and agentic layers around it, and shipping it as a product, exactly what the new interface to the computer demands.
## Have you raised funds?
We have raised a seed round from Peak XV (formerly Sequoia Capital India). We also have a few angel investors including Aravind Srinivas (CEO Perplexity), Sriram Rajamani (Corporate Vice President, Microsoft), Shyamal Anadkat (ex-OpenAI) and Atishay Ganesh (Growth Story)
We are also advised by Prof. KC Sivaramakrishnan (IIT Madras) and Ranjan Jagannathan (ex Head of Behavioural Science Cred)
